100 Days of Laughter Challenge – Day 13

For those new to this challenge, do check the first post to get a better idea 🙂

Sorry for posting this late. I was very much down yesterday. Anyways, here is a “Chintu” for you guys today. For those who have not read previous post, it is a famous Marathi comic character showing interactions between Chintu a school going kid, and his friends, neighbours and parents.

Scene: Chintu is just back from school.

Mom: How was the school today?

Chintu: Today Raju (one of his rowdy friend) had a fight with some other guy in school. We solved the fight.

Second pic: Bagla (another friend) had to take den three times while paying hide and seek 🙂

Third pic: Pappu’s (a close friend) tiffin spilled in the classroom door itself 😀

Fourth pic:

chintu: There was a cockroach on Neha’s bench..

Mom: But what did you study in school?

Fifth pic:

Chintu: (guiltily) Mmm..ummmm…that I’ll call Mini (another friend) and ask.. 😀 😉

Well, you can very much guess his mom’s reaction 😀

Another incident. I was watching “The Next Karate Kid”. Hillary Swank is one of my favourites. Her “Freedom Writer’s Diary”, “Million Dollary Baby” are some of the awesomest movies I’ve seen. So in this movie, her Japanese karate teacher, Mr. Miyagi, is trying to teach her to concentrate. He takes her to a barn. The following is a dialogue between them:

Julie (her name in the movie): Why are we here Mr. Miyagi..do we pitch some hay or what..

Mr. Miyagi: Miyagi teach you to be alert at all times..are you alert Julie-san..(that is what they call girls in Japanese I guess)..

Julie (all around): what is there to be alert about here…yes I am alert (she says as she is casually standing facing him)..

And the next moment, a sack full of something bumps her from behind 😀 😀

The second time they come to the same barn. This time she is saying I’m not going to be fooled this time. I’m totally alert. So he blindfolds her and tells her to use all the other senses. The first sack comes and she punches it correctly without looking 🙂 . Totally ecstatic, she removes the blindfold, jumping up and down, saying did you see that…I was totally focused..I did it Mr. Miyagi. The next moment four other sacks comes from all directions and hit her 😀 and all the monks standing above as well as Mr. Miyagi are smiling mischievously 😀 .

Both the scenes are so damn cute 🙂 . Well that is all for yesterday.

Have a good day!!.
