The Silence

I assumed he would be there
there to take on my anger
the anger created out of expectations
the expectations that I imagined
the imagination that goes out of hand
a trait started since I met him
so I assumed he would understand
understand enough of me to know
that such angers are fake walls
created to keep the hurt at bay
so the heart may be kept safe
but I guess he never thought that far
his silence told me all..
